Dani is super passionate about sustainability within the field of chemistry while also teaching at every opportunity about circularity principles and intersecionality with other subjects. Every week he has a section of the lecture that is dedicated to news and even a movie of the week!

He is absolutely always enthusiastic and open to speaking to students and answering their questions. Recently he got inolved in helping the sustainability associations at radboud gain more visibility.

The course sustainable chemistry has a weekely interactive workshop where the students work in a group to discuss the assignment. At the end of the course there is a project that consists of an essay and a poster that delve into a sustainable topic. I consider that Dani was always super flexible about these interactive parts of the course while also being an excellent guide of the sustainable chemistry world.

He highlights news evey week while also giving students of sustainability associations a platform to speak(during lecture breaks).The news section of his course has introduced me to some amazing ngo's and organisations that i would not have found out about otherwise.
5. Met wie werkt de docent buiten de school samen?

I do not know so much about his out of school activities. I do know that he works with different ngos for clean-ups and workshops.
6. Vertel waarom je deze docent waardeert en hoe deze docent jou inspireert in het verduurzamen van het onderwijs.
Dani Blanco is a ray of sunshine upon the world. He is a very passionate educator, and although he teaches a bleak subject that can easily become demoralising, everyone always leaves his classroom more inspired and eager to make a change.
